Flexible port deployment

Unique Cisco Flexible Antenna Port technology is a Cisco engineering innovation. It allows the same antenna ports to be used either for dual-band antennas to reduce footprint, or for single-band antennas to optimize radio coverage.

BandSelect

Band selection enables client radios that are capable of dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) operation to automatically move to a less congested 5 GHz access point.

VideoStream

The VideoStream feature provides high-quality video performance over Wi-Fi. It converts the multicast frame to a unicast frame over the air.

Multiple operational modes

This series gives you a choice of access point, mesh, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint bridge, and workgroup bridge (WGB) deployments. The internal and external antenna versions both have full lines of supported omni and directional antennas.
