The power supply unit is a 24V dc battery backed power supply complete with back up batteries.
The output is continuous and transition from mains to battery is without break in the output. It is monitored and has local fault indication as well as volt free contacts for remote fault signalling, making it ideal as a general purpose power supply for fire alarm applications.
